Getting an AGC Range Badge
Want to use the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (AGC) range in Marriottsville, MD (which is about 45-minutes North of our club)? Berwyn Rod and Gun Club is a member of AGC, and BRGC members may qualify for an AGC range badge.
There are 3 steps to the process:
- Have a current BRGC club membership.
- Complete a range orientation, which usually takes less than two hours and can be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time. Two pathways:
a. Contact BRGC's AGC representative by email at agc@berwyn.org. Our rep instructs the range orientation, which includes walking through the entire Marriottsville facility and going over the Range Rules along the way. No-cost.b. Attend the AGC Range Orientation on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 8-11am. E-mail AGC.Walk@associatedgunclubs.org to sign up. The cost is $10.
3. Obtain an AGC range badge, which are normally made Monday through Friday, from 10:15 am to 2:30 pm, at the AGC Barnes Office. Cost for individual range badge is two hundred ($200) per year. Additional family member badges are sixty-seven ($67) per year.

AGC Events
AGC member clubs sponsor events such as using steel targets, action shooting, low-light/night shoots and matches. Matches are held at least monthly in shotgun, rifle and pistol disciplines. AGC has four different ranges: 50-yard pistol, 100 and 200 yard rifle, trap and archery ranges.
Additional range certifications
Additional individual certifications for the AGC range include holster and steel target certifications.
