ARCHERY

The Berwyn Rod and Gun Club Inc. (BRGC) hosts archery competitions and events for the enjoyment of its members and invited guests. Our primary focus has been and will remain safety. All events are run with a spirit of good sportsmanship and under the authority of the archery chair and team members. 

Archery Days for Juniors

In conjunction with our Juniors Program, BRGC hosts archery days for Juniors. These events teach kids safe handling of recurve and compound bows as well as basic marksmanship skills required for participating in matches.

Explore Archery

BRGC sponsors an Explore Archery program, which focuses on introducing beginners of all ages and abilities to archery. This program is open to our members, invited guest, and members of the public on select days.

Maryland DNR Archery Shooter Qualifications

In conjunction with our Maryland DNR Shooter Qualifications & Public Sight-in Days, BRGC hosts opportunities for bow hunters to demonstrate their proficiency (specifically, 3 out of 5 shots into a 9" circle at 20 and 30 yards) to acquire the  Shooter Qualification Card qualification card. 

Past Archery Events

Long-distance archery shoots, during which our members and invited guest challenge one and another at 100-yards.
