Bay & Deep-sea Fishing Trips

BRGC hosts fishing trips throughout between late Spring and early Fall each year. Trips include offshore fishing for BIG fish, including tuna, marlin, mahi, wahoo, and shark. For these trips, BRGC charters boats with an experienced Captains and sails from North Beach, Chesapeake Beach, and Ocean City, Maryland. Members and their invited guest are welcome to join for an additional fee to cover the cost of the charter. 

Canoeing & Kayaking Trips

BRGC organizing canoeing and kayaking trips on rivers and waterways in the District of Columbia and Maryland for members and invited guest between late Spring and early Fall each year.

Maryland Boating Safety Course

BRGC will offer Maryland Basic Boating Safety Courses in the near future. This classroom course is taught by a team of experienced instructors. They teach basic boating skills so you can earn your boating safety certificate from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Topics include types of vessels, state and Federal regulations, what to do in an emergency, navigational aids, weather, paddling, personal watercraft operations and safety, and more. This course meets the Maryland Boating Safety Education Act requirement needed for persons born on or after July 1, 1972, to operate a motorized vessel on Maryland waters.
