Maryland Concealed Handgun Permit RENEWAL Class

Anyone possessing a Maryland State issued Concealed Firearm Permit that needs to renew in the not distant future should attend this class. This training class meets the requirements set forth by the state of Maryland for permit renewal. This training class is ONLY for renewal of existing permits. A separate class for initial issue permits will be conducted in April 2016, as listed in this calendar.

Topics addressed in this training class will be an overview of  State Law, duty to retreat, use of deadly force, use of cover and concealment, legal and financial issues relative to personal defense, clothing selection, firearm selection, cartridge selection, firearm safety, dry-fire practice and exercises, live-fire practice and exercises, and final live-fire qualification.

Students are required to provide their carry firearm of choice, a strong side holster specific to their firearm, 200 rounds of factory loaded ball ammunition, eye protection, and hearing protection.

Registration and payment by cash, check, or money order will be conducted at the beginning of the class. Cost of this training class is $175.00 per person.
